Des Allen

Des Allen has drawn and painted from a very young age and studied initially at the Berkshire College of Art. However, he is substantially self taught, with a strong inclination towards depicting scenes of rural life, which are fast disappearing.

Des has exhibited in galleries in London and the south east, including ‘The Woodhay Gallery’ - Newbury, ‘Forest Fine Art Gallery’ - Guildford, The ‘Johnson Gallery’ - Farnham. He has works in many private collections in this country and abroad, including USA, Canada, Japan, and Germany. He has also had write-ups in the ‘Artist’ magazine.
