Manuela Lammas - paintings on Silk

Manuela’s work is inspired by her love of the coast, the West Country and in particular, St Ives in Cornwall. The mysterious light of Provence and Tuscany also hold a special fascination and provide inspiration for her landscapes.
 
Recently Manuela discovered the wonder of painting on Silk and she has developed a unique and innovative technique which has bewitched and intrigued both the viewer and other silk painting artists.

Manuela has worked as an artist all her life, both commercially, in commercial design and creatively as a Watercolour and collage artist. Manuela studied Art and Dance Theatre at Goldsmith’s University.
